Christmas is Coming

Well, its almost that time of the year. Given the weather here, it is difficult to believe that it is almost Christmas. The temperature here has not gone below freezing yet. Yesturday, it was nice enough to go out with just a fleece on. It is also very green here. Some of the trees have lost their leaves, but most are still green. We have had a lot of rain lately. I am told that the rain is more typical of October and November.

We bought our Christmas tree last week end. As we don't have any tree decorations, we had to get a small one. The supermarket where we shop has a farmers market on Saturday. One of the sellers had small evergreens in pots. We bought one and the girls have made decorations. I will put a photo on the blog soon.

I had my performance evaluation (observation) at school the other day. While most of the teachers get a 'satisfactory' score (which is considered good), I was scored at good to excellent (which is the best). To bad I don't get paid based on my rating.
